Medical Facilities
(Reads: 1532, 27-Ago-2008)Medical facilities are generally good in Argentina but can be expensive. It is advisable to take out travel insurance in case of unforeseeable health problems. The public health system provides emergency and non-emergency services free of charge to all, regardless of whether or not they are an Argentine citizen. Needless to say, the standard of health care in public hospitals doesn’t quite match that of private clinics. If you go private you will have to pay immediately.
