Flora and Fauna

Argentina has an enormous variety of fauna and flora, which given its geographical diversity comes as no surprise. In the north, the pre-cordillera cloud forests are home to jaguars, pumas, tapirs, porcupines and black howler monkeys, not to mention a plethora of bird and plant life, while on the sandy shores of Peninsula Valdes in Patagonia, elephant seals and penguins bask in the sun and orcas and southern-right whales frolic in the coastal waters.
