Getting to Parque Nacional Río Pilcomayo

There are two ways into the park, both not far from the village of Laguna Blanca, some 50 km from northern city of Clorinda which is linked to Formosa by the Ruta 11. From Clorinda, take the Ruta 86 which passes close to the park’s southern border and you can either turn off for the Ruta Provincial just after Laguna Naick- Neck and proceed for 4 km to the park entrance, or you can carry on the Ruta 86 and turn off near Laguna Blanca and follow the road for 7 km to another park entrance at Estero Poi.
