Getting to San Antonio de Areco

San Antonio de Areco is on the Ruta 8, 113 km from Buenos Aires.

By Car - Take the Acesso Norte along the Autopista del Sol to Pilar and continue for 68 km until the road becomes the Ruta 8. San Antonio de Areco is just 2 km after the Ruta 41 intersection. The journey takes about an hour-and-a-half and en route you will have to pay about three tolls.

By Bus - From the Terminal de Ómnibus in Retiro, take Nueva Chevallier (tel: +54 [0] 11 4000 5255) or Pullman General Belgrano (tel: +54 [0] 11 4315 6522). Other companies include Master Bus, Ruta Bus y Empresa Argentina.

By Taxi or Remise - You can also take a taxi or a remise. Remises are usually cheaper for longer journeys. Also Camino Pampa, tel: +54 [0] 11 15 4409 7002, offers transfers from the airport direct to San Antonio de Areco.
