El Chalten Tourist Office on Guemes 21 has detailed trekking maps. Open Mon-Fri 9am-8pm, Sat-Sun 1pm-8pm. Tel: +54 (0) 296 249 3011.
Parque Nacional Los Glaciares has an office in El Calafate on Avenida Libertador 1302. Open Mon-Fri 8am-4pm and Sat-Sun 9.30am-7pm. Tel: +54 (0) 2902 491545. The park’s office in El Chalten is at the entrance to the small town. Tel: +54 (0) 2902 493004.
