The Museo de Arte Contemporaneo (MACRo) in the northern city of Rosario is housed in a brightly-painted former grain silo complex, which sits on the banks of the Rio Parana at the end of Boulevard Oroño. It is home to ten floors of works by contemporary Argentine artists and also runs temporary exhibitions. Open Thur-Tues 3pm-9pm. The MACRo is run alongside the Museo de Bellas Artes J B Castagnino on Avenida Pellegrini 2202 in the Parque de la Independencia. Open Mon, Thur and Fri 2pm-8pm and Sat-Sun 1pm-7pm.
