On Avenida de los Pioneros a few kilometres out of Bariloche, a teleferico runs up the Cerro Otto (1,400 metres) or you can walk up which takes two to three hours. From the top, there are some truly spectacular views of Lago Nahuel Huapi and the surrounding landscape. There’s also a restaurant where you can lunch while admiring the scenery as it constantly revolves. Alternatively you can hike for 20 minutes to Refugio Berghof which serves refreshments. It belongs to the Club Andino Bariloche. Cable cars run from 10am-6pm daily.
