The Circuito Grande is a 239-kilometre trajectory from San Carlos de Bariloche following the Ruta 237 out of the city on to the Ruta 40. Some 60 km farther on is the Valle Encantado where rock formations protrude from the landscape. At Confluencia, so-named as the rivers Traful and Limay meet here, follow the Ruta 65 west to the Mirador del Traful and Villa Traful.  Soon after, you join the Ruta 234 which takes you through dense forest before arriving at the chocolate-box village of Villa La Angostura on Lago Nahuel Huapi. From here you follow the lake shore some 80 km on to Bariloche. For further details, visit the tourist office in the Centro Civico on the main plaza in Bariloche.
