Calle Mitre, the main thoroughfare, runs east to west and most shops and restaurants are either on it or off the many side streets. It’s all very walkable. Buses operate regularly along the Avenida Bustillo on the southern shore of Lago Nahuel Huapi to Puerto Panuelo and the luxury Hotel Llao-Llao on the Llao Llao peninsula (Bus 20), which forms part of the Circuito Chico. The same road passes the intersection where you can turn off for Cerro Catedral, 17 km from Bariloche, and Villa Los Coihues on Lago Gutierrez (Bus 50).
