Some four hours from Salta situated at the foothills of the Cordillera de los Andes is the rather sumptuous Estancia Colome. It is surrounded by vineyards and enjoys some spectacular views. The Hess family specialises in fine cuisine using fresh produce from its own biodynamic farm and wines from its vineyards, some of the highest in the world. Its winery, constructed in 1831, is also one of Argentina’s oldest.
