Iguazu Falls can be visited any time of the year. Sometimes there are heavy downpours in the summer, although the most rain tends to fall between March and July. The average winter temperature is around 15ºC while in the summer it’s around 25ºC. So if you prefer it cooler, it’s advisable to go from March to November.

The falls are inclined to be busy during the Argentine summer holiday, primarily the month of January and during the month of July in the winter, coinciding with school vacations as well as Easter. The falls have only disappointed a couple of times; they were dry in 1978 and more recently in 2006.
