Each year in April the Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival screens a selection, more than 1,000 showings, of some of the world’s best alternative films at theatres throughout the city including the Teatro San Martin, Fundacion Proa, the Alianza Francesa, the Abasto shopping centre, among others.
