Public toilets in Argentina are not terribly plentiful nor, when you do find them, are they likely to be particularly clean or in good working order. So if you’re caught short, then it’s best to ask politely in the nearest bar or restaurant. Some might be less than gracious in their response but will seldom say no. Otherwise, the alternative is to head for the nearest shopping mall, department store or fast-food outlet.
